BEAU RICHARD MALIK

My name is Richard Malik. I am participating in the 34th Annual Beautillion Militaire Program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter. It is a program committed to the empowerment of high school seniors teaching them life skills that aid in the transition to adulthood.

Please consider placing a congratulatory message of advertisement in the Beautillion Militaire Souvenir Book that will be prepared for the Beautillion Militaire ceremony on April 05, 2025. This will help me increase my chances of receiving scholarship money to help offset my college expenses.

For those of you who are not aware, I am a senior at Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. I also attend school at Butler Tech where I study Information Technology.  During my time at Butler Tech, I have earned 3 certifications: FCF (Fortinet Cybersecurity Fundamentals), FCA (Fortinet Cybersecurity Associate) and my SC-900 (Microsoft security, Compliance and Identity). Currently I'm studying towards my Tech + and Security+ CompTIA certifications.

Allow me to share with you some of the ways in which I have been spending my time. I train in a martial art called Muay Thai at the gym Club MMA. I am an avid skater and spend my time skating at The Place Skating rink. Last summer, I interned at P&G doing portfolio analytics and share point management. The team I was a part of put me in charge of building them a new SharePoint site and helping build dashboards out of Excel files using Power BI. SharePoint is a Microsoft software that allows you to create websites that can hold different documents, links and important news for a group of people or organization. Also in the summer 2022, I participated in the Build Your Own Computer Program (B.Y.O.C). I got the opportunity to build my own computer and learn the coding language Python. Later that year, I hosted cybersecurity panel for B.Y.O.C- Youth Exploration.

I have played football at Colerain High School leading up to my junior year. Recently, I joined the SkillsUSA team where I teach people about internet safety and a chance to compete against different schools. If you win you will have a chance to go to Atlanta for national.  After High school I plan to go to college and study Cybercriminology or Cybersecurity. I plan to work for different law firms and eventually have my own consulting company.

I appreciate very much whatever assistance you may offer in this endeavor. Helping me to raise funds towards my college education, and my future.
